When we speak of a metal, the first thing that comes in our mind is a hard object used for building construction. Don't you know that all of us eat metals? Take note that there are many forms of metals. The table salt that we use in cooking is a metal.

The Values of Education

Man is gifted by God with dignity. He gave him the needed attributes to possess this. Free will and dominion over all God's creations are the major gifts of God to protect man and live with dignity.

We live in diverse society , where peace making is an essential task, and to experience peace within ourselves truth, peace, value, freedom and creativity must be everyone's concern.
There is that infinite capacity of everyone to be the foundation of peace, which I believe, starts from childhood. However children need the wise  and caring adults who believe in their infinite worth and dignity and who love and care enough to commit themselves to safeguard their rights. Their aspiration and wish to live and grow into free, responsible, happy, wise and human person, who are able to learn to love and to live together with others with peace and harmony must be with the loving guidance of the adults who make themselves visibly present in their midst.

The developing and fast growing world has introduced to our children new bits of information and knowledge, but neglect the education of emotions; they are not able to handle their own feelings and emotions or to resolve their conflicts positively to relate to others, to work and to play peacefully with children of different backgrounds. Children are made being highly intelligent, knowledgeable and skillful, but are not able to live and work with others peacefully; they grow up to be self centered, egoistic individuals instead of loving and caring children.

The realization to this dreamed wish is not far at hand when parents in the families, educators in the institution of learning, the concern adults in the community in which these children interact and live take an account of it, that they teach and model to the young and growing minds the value of peacemaking so that they like and live with dignity and commitment.
